Wolf Child, the first of the werewolf stories. While researching prior work I came to the conclusion that werewolves were getting the bad trope treatment. What if they were just another one of the damned that inhabit this earth? Why can’t they feel love. Or remorse? So I tried to give Damonia a more complex treatment. She’s just another creature in this world trying to get by. Poor thing gets sucked into a bad situation in Bisbee, Arizona. Some guy named Billy runs a health spa for vampires there. Seems the undead are dying and Billy has the cure. And Damonia has to deliver the secret sauce to make it all work… or else.
