The third book in the Wolf Child series. Leon’s pack is once again threated with mass extinction. Animal Control has created a genetically engineered virus targeting Lycans. Leon and Samantha are the last wolf team left with any hope of stopping Dr. Mars and his secret lab from unleashing this new and terrible worldwide plague. Can Leon and Samantha escape the death squads sent by Mars in time to stop it all?

The jeep lurched down the dirty road back to Soper’s, it was raining hard now, black as the bottom of a phosphate mine.
Kurt watched the rain, “What was that all about?”
“What was what?” said Leon.
“That ear business.”
“Those guys were bounty hunters.”
“I don’t get the ear business.”
“Fifty thousand an ear, that’s what they pay men to hunt us. They need to know who did this.”
They rode on in silence through the rain.
“We’re not a whole lot different than you,” said Leon.
“No, you’re a lot different,” said Kurt.
Kurt caught Samantha’s eyes through the rear view.
She returned the gaze. Samantha bit the tip of her thumb.
Kurt saw blue eyes, clear eyes, set in a face void of regret for what she had done. He’d seen those eyes before, in the faces of child assassins in Yemen.
“They’ll send others,” she said, “They always do.”

OK so I love Leon and Samantha from the Werewolf Series.  So I felt compelled to put them on Tortola. Put them in danger and have them work it out. Can’t stand the cover.
